You've probably asked yourself, how do you stay that last name? Well, there you go, it's pretty simple if you just sound it out. :) And if you think it's Greek, Hungarian, or Italian, you'd be mistaken—the surname is from the Basque region of Northern Spain. 

George has over 20+ years of experience in the areas of publishing, marketing, and strategy, and has crafted solutions for Esquire, Ford, Cadillac, and Popular Mechanics. A native New Yorker, who looks to the city’s rich history and culture for inspiration in his work. George now teaches strategic problem-solving and design research at CUNY’s NYC College of Technology (City Tech) and hosts an award-winning podcast, Works in Process.

George works to create industry connections and access for emerging designers. He does this via his roles on the AIGA’s national Diversity, Equity + Inclusion initiative and 100 Roses from Concrete.

George earned his BFA from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and his MFA from the Savannah College of Art + Design.
